our salvation, our hope.
no one knew.
with the death of gotham's white knight,
havey dent, the people of the city turn
their anger and frustration on the dark knight.
the batman.
the joker has been captured and sentenced
to life in arkham asylum - surpassing the death
penalty with a plea of insanity.
gotham is currently on the mends after
the clown's rein of destruction.
things are beginning to get back to normal.
the batman has been laying low.
and gotham's crime underworld is once
again... stirring... smelling their freedom again.
their chance to re-emerge.

this is an advanced gotham-verse roleplay
where players are welcome to come,
play the characters they love,
and explore the origins of their alter egos.
though 'harvey dent' is dead, 'two-face' lives on
behind arkham asylum's walls. but
not alone. the joker is in like company, currently
receiving 'treatment' inside arkham.
out on the streets, the batman is lying low,
and gotham's underworld is stirring again.
new faces are emerging, and
the streets are no longer safe.

* this roleplay is heavily influenced by nolan's films
* some comic influence is also taken

* canon villains and heroes will begin as regular
people; gotham citizens. this board will
allow players to play out, establish,
and explore their alter-ego origins.

* the board is looking for dedicated, advanced
roleplayers to bring these characters to
life in a realistic, accurate way.
